    This year I spent autumn living on the NSW south coast. One of the highlights of my routine was running along Gerroa’s seven mile beach. The other was attending Jeana O’Toole’s Arnava yoga classes, held at the quaint Werri Beach progress hall. We would start with pranayama: there is nothing more calming than to do pranayama with the rhythmic sound of the ocean in the background. We would then move onto a vinyasa practice, based on the ashtanga primary series.

    It is my absolute pleasure to tell the world that Jeana is a wonderful yoga teacher. Jeana has a special qualities as a teacher. She combines kindness with an exacting eye for detail and technique. My commitment to yoga and my yoga practice developed under her guidance. I feel happy and fortunate to have had the benefit of her teaching and hope that I can return to Jeana’s classes in the not too distant future.
